JavaScript functions and objects

JavaScript functions and objects are powerful features that enable developers to write efficient and reusable code. Here’s an overview of JavaScript functions and objects:

  • Functions

JavaScript functions are blocks of code that can be executed when called. Functions are useful for code organization, encapsulation, and reusability. Functions in JavaScript can be declared using the function keyword, or they can be created using function expressions.

Functions in JavaScript can also be passed as arguments to other functions, returned from functions, and stored as variables.

  • Objects

JavaScript objects are collections of key-value pairs, similar to dictionaries in other programming languages. Objects are used to represent complex data structures and can be created using object literals or constructor functions.

JavaScript objects can have properties and methods. Properties are values associated with the object, while methods are functions that can be called on the object.
